Patricia's Howl
This August long weekend (1st, 2nd & 3rd) the Patricia's Howl will be held at the Regina Beach Campground. This milestone event supports and honours the courage of Canadian Armed Forces Veterans, their families and mission partners during the anniversary of their re-deployment to Afghanistan. Ticket information coming soon...
The event will be held in recognition of Task Force Orion, a unit composed of members from the 1st battalion, Princess Patricia's Canadian light infantry and Army Reserves Regiment who deployed to Kandahar in 2006. Their dedication, courage and sacrifice earned numerous commendations, including the Commander-in-Chief Commendation from the Governor General of Canada. We also take this time to remember and honor the 19 Canadians who lost their lives during this deployment, ensuring their legacy continues to inspire future generations. Their actions helped shape Canada's modern legacy in international peace and security.
The venue at Regina Beach Campground (RBCG) has brought together veterans, first responders, RCMP members (active and retired), and their families since the 10-year anniversary with a smaller, more intimate gathering held every year since 2016. This event provides a welcoming space to reconnect, reflect, and enjoy a weekend of outdoor activities, live music and other family-friendly events. More than just a gathering, it is a celebration of service, sacrifice, and community.
The 3 evening live music performances featuring some great Canadian artists will be open to the general public , giving them the opportunity to personally thank these heroes!
