Attached picture - inaugural women's Howlers team (2011 Stampede 7's)
The inaugural Howlers women's team organized by for the most part Patricia Jaworski (now Samson as she married Howlers' Mozac Samson) competed in the 2011 Stampede 7's (Calgary) in which they took second place. They then went on to win 4 out of 5 tournaments they entered (see below). Over these 6 tournaments 33 different players have put on the Howlers jersey (see below).
There will be 11 new Howlers for the 2 upcoming touraments : Havana Howlers 7's , December 1 and 2( Taylor Hawkins - Regina Rogues, Robin Hunter - Mount Royal RFC, Miranda Seifert - Queens University, Angela Thompson - Regina Rogues) and Tobago International 7's December 8 and 9( Emily Belchos - Barrie Central Collegiate, Arielle Dubissette - Toronto Scottish/Western University, Lori Josephson - Western University, Natasha Loucks - University of Calgary, Janine Martin - Leprechaun RFC, Emily Rickets - Mississauga Blues/McMaster University, Natasha Smith - Carlton University/Barhaven Scottish RFC).
