The Dog River Howlers Rugby Club have selected a team which has a good mix of youth and experience to play in the Carib Tobago International Rugby Sevens Tournament on December 8 and 9 . The side has 7 first time Howlers including 17 year old high school student Emily Belchos, along with four capped players - Arrielle Dubissette-Borrice, Michelle Helmeczi, Shannon Kane, and Andrea Letal.
This will be the first time that the Howlers will compete in this tournament which includes 12 teams from Trinidad and Tobago, USA, Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica and Scotland.
With rugby 7's being an official sport in the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games along with the fact that the Canadian Women's 7' National Team is currently ranked #2 in the world these women have much to strive for.
