How did rugby effect/influence your life:
----------------------------------
Rugby is the only game I know that shapes your character and influences every factor of your life from friends and family to work opportunities to travel opportunities. you literally can walk into any rugby club in the world and will have an instant family, employment advisor and accommodation advisor.
Current involvement in rugby:
-------------------------
I have no formal involvement with rugby, but offer help and advise to local clubs when they need a hand, looking to get referee qualification.
What are you doing now (residence, work, family etc):
--------------------------------------------
I have recently moved back to Canada and am working for Brightling Equipment Ltd building and servicing pump drives for the oil field.
Input/ suggestions for Canadian Rugby and or young players:
---------------------------------------------
brian rowFor young players 'Better to regret the things you have done rather than the things you haven't done' (Brian Rowlands)
For Canada Rugby I would suggest to develop a program or powerpoint presentation that can be accessed by school teachers and coaches all over Canada at whatever level that can assist in the promotion of the game leading to an increase in participation. I have seen a drastic reduction in numbers playing in Saskatchewan and am not sure its the same everywhere but this would be helpful here
