Born - 1969 in Winnipeg Manitoba
Caps: 1996-2006. Forty Seven - 15s caps. Ten 7s cap. Three Rugby World Cups
Early rugby - school(s), club(s), rep sides, age grade Canada with dates : Started playing club with the Regina Breakers in 1991, also on team Saskatchewan after which I was long listed for Canada after firs National Championship.
Later rugby - Still playing club and coaching the Regina Rage and the Regina Women's League along with the Saskatchewan Women's Provincial Team. Recently played for the Dog River Howlers, and the Prairie Fire Ultra Sevens sides.
Your Influences: My influences were my early coaches - Leanne Balliett and Kristen Karwandy who taught me that rugby is a great game. Many of the players I played with and against. They made the player I am.
Most memorable rugby game(s)/experience(s)/memories: My most memorable game was when I scored 3 tries vs France at my first Canada cup in 96.I have so many memories of all the good times on and off the field. The camaraderie of playing anywhere in the world and always knowing someone. It's one of those games.
How did rugby effect/influence your life: Rugby has influenced me to return the favour to anyone that wants to learn the game.
Current involvement in rugby: My current involvement includes playing and coaching The Reginaage 7s, Regina Women's 15s, coaching senior Saskatchewan Women's Provincial Team and the University Of Regina Regina Cougars 7s Team. Also refereeing.
What are you doing now (residence, work, family etc): I live in Regina, work for the Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region, engaged to Darren Beaulac (coaches Saskatchewan Women U-18) and we have a four year old son named Wyatt.
Input/suggestions for Canadian rugby and or young players: My suggestion is to always remember to have fun. It's a great game.
