Howlers Place Second in the 2014 True Sport Give-Back Challenge,

 Votes poured in from people across the country in support of their favourite of our six amazing finalists’ stories.

The three winning stories that were announced yesterday on RBC Sports Day in Canada (http://sportsday.cbc.ca/home) , presented by ParticipACTION, CBC and True Sport are listed below.

This Challenge recognizes sports group that give back to their community and advance the True Sport Principles and the values of: fairness, excellence, inclusion and fun.

1. “We are One - Kickin’ it in the Community” submitted by Nepean City Soccer Club, Ottawa, Ont.

2. “It’s Not a Game, It’s a Way of Life” submitted by Dog Rivers Howlers Rugby Club, Regina, Sask.

3. “OYCL - Ottawa Youth Curling League” submitted by Ottawa Valley Curling Association, Ottawa, Ont.
