Replacing him will be 20 old year Joshua Miles who spent the summer playing for Quebec champions Ste Anne De Bellevue and is currently playing for Crowborough RFC in London England. Josh who is from Wales was also part of the Ospreys Academy.
Five players (Paul Van Wyck, Rob Law, Dan Smith, Konrad Rybkowski and Derek Daypuck) from last year's Tobago 7's championship team led by former Canadian 7's and 15's international stalwart player coach Derek Daypuck (also a prominent player with the Canadian Rugby Championship's winning Ontario Blues) will be returning to defend the Howlers title.
Capped Howlers James Acker, Jered Douglas and Elis Grey along with first time Howlers Simon Fader (highly touted teammate of player/coach Derek Daypuck), David Stevens (U of Saskatchewan star gridiron running back who was a Canadian Collegiate Football Hec Crighton MVP nominee)and 19 year old up and comer Matt Law round up a well balanced squad.
This 16 team international tournament will include club and select sides from USA, Venezuela, Trinidad Tobago, Barbados, Scotland, England and Canada.
The Howlers also have a team entered in the 16 team women's division.
